Harder promoted to new role at National Teachers Hall of Fame

The National Teachers Hall of Fame (NTHF) announced that Jenny Harder will be promoted to Director of Recognition and Induction for the Hall of Fame, effective July 1.

“I am looking forward to the opportunity of assisting the NTHF to continue to meet its mission and goals,” Harder said. “The support of the Emporia community and the involvement of the Hall of Fame is tremendous. It is a great experience to be involved in something so positive and worthwhile.”

Harder has served as administrative officer for the NTHF for five years. She is currently pursuing a degree in economics at Emporia State University.

In her new position, Harder will be responsible for the distribution of nomination forms, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Hall of Fame, organizing the national selection committee, induction day announcements, induction activities in Emporia and Washington , D.C. , the annual NTHF auction, and work in conjunction with Dr. Leo Pauls, NTHF president, on the Early Career Teacher Conferences.
