  • Mr. Albrecht’s pedagogy contains
    six key student-centered understandings:
    (1) Confidence is a key to learning, and he builds a climate in which
students trust themselves to make good decisions; (2) Creativity allows for the
expansion of ideas; (3) When students take risks, the rate of failure goes up,
and there is nothing wrong with this; (4) All students want to be accepted, but
there are times when there are naysayers to ideas; (5) Students and teachers
that understand work ethic increase their rate of success; and (6) Teaching
service-mindedness produces active citizens in the future.
  • Mr. Albrecht believes that his job
is to teach children, but his mission is to promote lifelong learning.
