For his outstanding contributions as a educator, Harold is recognized on the Donors’ Wall of Fame by Gladys Stockwell from Neosho Rapids, Kansas.

According to Gladys:

He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees by going to college on Saturdays, summers, nights and through correspondence. It took a long time but he never gave up. Children were in his best interest and he would always go that extra mile to help a child. Harold always set a good example.

Harold was an educator for 48 years. He began his career in a one room schoolhouse. From 1924-1972, he was an elementary principal for Coffey, Lyon, and Chase Counties in Kansas. Harold was also a music teacher and a coach.
