"Success for my students is rooted in my hope that they will become life-long learners who enjoy reading and writing; I want them to leave my classroom with the ability to find the beauty and the truth in the texts they read and to discover the power of their own voice in their writing.." - Jane Koszoru

Jane wants to help all her students to acquire the skills necessary to find success in school and the workplace and to become confident and productive members in a democratic society that requires thoughtful analysis of complex issues.

Jane believes that all children are capable of high achievement and they thrive in environments where they feel valued. Therefore, she strives to create relevant lessons that will challenge but not defeat them.

"Mrs. Jane Koszoru is not just a teacher, but an explorer, mentor, friend, and an amazing person. She is the perfect example of an exceptional teacher and there will be no else like her." --Lillie Thomas, Student

"Jane is a master teacher who brings her wealth of experiences and teaching strategies, along with her intellect, enthusiasm and energy into the classroom where her love of her subject matter becomes contagious. Because she believes in her students' potential for success, she creates an environment where they can succeed and where they know that their efforts are valued." -- Nell Sapp, Principal, The College Academy at Broward Community College
