Part of the magic of Mr. Brock’s teaching is the way he challenges his students. He sets high expectations, and he is there as a teacher to guide and help his students to stretch their intellect and self-imposed limitations. He is genuinely engaging and is able to make even the most passive students actively want to learn the material, instilling in them a genuine love of learning that they take with them to college and beyond.

Dr. james brooks

Jim has been described as a challenging teacher, but also fun and fair. Dr. Brooks believes learning should be about exploration and adventure, and so always looks for ways to encourage his students to become the teacher. He challenges his students to be the very best they can be, and leads his peers in trying new ways to teach.

However, his vision for every student that comes into his classroom. has remained constant: to be a thriving, successful individual that makes a global impact. The energy and enthusiasm he displays for every challenge he undertakes is incredible. Whether it be teaching, coaching, volunteering, or working with students or staff, Glenn puts his heart and soul into everything he attempts.”

Scott strives to find creative solutions that ensure equity and excellence for all students, assessing the academic and emotional needs of students, while setting limits. Helping young people grow in knowledge and character is his life’s work.
Scott's ideals are reflective of Martin Luther King’s words: "Make a career of humanity (education). Commit yourself to the noble struggle for equal rights. You will make a greater person of yourself, a greater nation of your country, and a finer world to live in."
